Responding to the 'Assisted Dying' Westminster Hall debate on Monday 4th July 2022 as Justice Minister responsible for Criminal Law. You can find a copy of my speech in Hansard HERE

A bill proposing to give terminally ill people in England and Wales the right to end their own life was introduced in Parliament today, 16th October, with a debate and initial vote to take place on Friday 29th November. I have decided to hold a public meeting for my constituents to give you the opportunity to share your views on this important subject.
