Sudbury Traffic Relief Scheme

Improved Mobile and Broadband Signal

As your MP, one of my biggest concerns is about the lack of communicative capability in the rural areas of the constituency. This is largely an economic concern, based on the fact that it is small businesses that have suffered at the hands of poor broadband and mobile telephone signals. However, obviously many residents would also benefit enormously from improved signal. As such, my first parliamentary questions put to both the Prime Minister and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport were based on these issues.

Road and Rail

One of my main commitments as the Member of Parliament for South Suffolk is to improve the transport services in our area. This is a multi-faceted challenge that encompasses both road and rail issues.

Backing South Suffolk Business

I consider backing local businesses to be one of the most important roles that I have as South Suffolk’s MP. These businesses are at the heart of our local economy, remain essential to our communities and, crucially, provide jobs. South Suffolk is host to a large amount of fantastic businesses and I am committed to supporting all of them by campaigning to ensure that they are given the optimal environment in which to prosper.
